With Miami-Dade County Offering Free Tax Preparation, Ros-Lehtinen Encourages Residents To Take Advantage Of This Valuable Service As The Tax Filing Deadline Is Upon Us

Miami, Florida – Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) is encouraging residents of Miami-Dade County to take full advantage of a free service the County is providing to help low income residents with their tax preparations. The service, that began in February and will continue through April 15th, is being provided through Miami-Dade County’s Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD). 

This free tax preparation service is offered at select CAHSD Service Centers for middle to low income individuals or families with a combined income under $57,000 in 2012. If you qualify, you can have your 2012 taxes prepared and filed electronically at the locations below:

Accion Community Service Center, 858 W. Flagler St., Miami, (305) 547-4892, on Mondays and Thursdays 8:30 a.m. -11a.m.; Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2 p.m. -4 p.m.; Fridays 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
