Supporting Local Students, Ros-Lehtinen to Speak at the Miami Brain Fair

"It's always a pleasure to speak with our passionate next generation of leaders."

Miami, Florida - Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen will be speaking to students at the Patricia and Philip Frost Museum of Science, 3280 South Miami Avenue in Miami, on Saturday, March 22 at noon at the Brain Fair, an event to encourage students to innovate and find new ways to improve brain science research and education.

The Brain Fair at the Patricia and Philip Frost Museum of Science, one of the largest events for Brain Science Awareness Week, provides a way for young people to begin to think about and understand the opportunities available in a brain science career. Ros-Lehtinen, a former Florida certified school teacher and author of the Florida PrePaid College Program, knows the importance of encouraging our students to strive for excellence at a young age.

Statement by Ros-Lehtinen:

"It's always a pleasure to speak with our passionate next generation of leaders. Our future depends on those who are willing to discover, create, and take risks. I'm glad we have so many of these dynamic people in our community. Brain science is truly a cutting edge field and I know that with so many young and interested South Floridians, positive contributions to the field from our community are only a matter of time."
