TODAY FRIDAY AT 5PM: Ros-Lehtinen To Be Honored By Local Nicaraguan-American Group For Her Efforts On Behalf Of Nica Community In S. FLA

Miami, Florida – Today Friday, July 6th at 5:00 pm, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) will be at Yambo Restaurant to receive an award from a local Nicaraguan-American group, Committee for Poor Nicaraguans in Exile, for her efforts on behalf of the Nica community in South Florida. Yambo Restaurant is located at 1643 SW 1 Street, Miami.

Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado will also be present at this event to give Ileana a proclamation from the City of Miami that showcases her civic involvement in our community.

Said Ros-Lehtinen, “I am blessed to represent a community that is made up of so many diverse cultures and ethnicities that have come together to form this beautiful mosaic that is the United States, the greatest democracy in the world. I am humbled that I have been given this awesome responsibility to help so many in South Florida.
