TOMORROW TUESDAY IN DOWNTOWN MIAMI: As Another School Year Comes To An End, Ros-Lehtinen Serves As Graduation Speaker For The 8th Grade Ceremony Of Ada Merritt K-8 Center

Miami, Florida – Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) will serve as the graduation speaker tomorrow (Tuesday, June 5th) for the eighth grade class of the Ada Merritt K-8 Center.

The ceremony will take place at 9:30 am at the Ash Auditorium in the James L. Knight Center (400 SE 2nd Avenue, downtown Miami). Ileana will speak to the graduates at 9:45 am.

Said Ros-Lehtinen, “I am honored to be speaking before the eighth grade graduating class of the Ada Merritt K-8 Center. As these students begin their final years of their high school education, I urge them to double up on their efforts to educate themselves and to also give back to their community by engaging in volunteer work.

Once they complete their high school education, these graduates will enter a highly competitive environment where their success will depend in large part on the education they received. The challenges will be many but through a solid education, these students can be successful and productive members of our community and of our nation.”
